What supplements should my 14 year old be taking?

My 14 year old daughter plays club volleyball with three two hour practices per week and games on the weekend.What would be a good choice of supplements from your lineup?

Hi there and thank you for the message. Since your daughter is 14 years old I'd recommend not taking any supplement but rather follow a well-balanced diet and take a good multivitamin. Having said that, there are products in our line up that anyone can benefit from, such as (1) ENCHARGE to build muscle strength and speed up recovery between training sessions and (2) PROMASIL which is a quality source of protein to help maintain growth, repair tissue after training sessions and reduce the likelihood of overtraining syndromes common in young athletes. She should not try any Energy or Weight Loss products from RIVALUS or any other company (including all of the energy drinks marketed such as Red Bull, 5 Hour Energy, and the many others).

I'm sure her schedule is very busy and when combined with the school academic and social activity makes for a rigorous schedule. The challenge is for her and you to try to prepare good food choices for her to take with her to school for lunch, snack time, prior to practice or games and for immediately after games. Protein, fruits and vegetables is the best choice for snack time, pre workout and immediately after workout to help her recover, feel good and stay focused.
