Jacqueline Park, a holistic practitioner and Canadian national light flyweight boxing prodigy from Burlington, Ontario is proudly wearing the RIVALUS colors for a second year in a row.
As Park's boxing career has catapulted into something she could have only dreamed of several years ago, she still maintains a modest demeanor when it comes to talking about her outstanding accomplishments. Jacqui's athletic ability may only be trumped by her delightful personality as she possesses a natural ability to steer a conversation about her into one of giving proper respects to all the help she has had over the years from trainers, training partners, friends, and commercial sponsorships such as RIVALUS.
Several years ago, RIVALUS CEO Dr. Darren Burke saw the uniqueness of Jacqueline and instantly felt the need to help her in any way he could. "Jacqui is more than just an elite athlete, she is a fantastic person all around. She is very accomplished in her professional career as well as in her boxing career. She is exactly the type of person I want involved in our wonderful organization and I'm glad she's so excited to be part of it too."
MPOWER and PROMASIL, both Certified SAEF® supplements, have become standard in Jacqueline's training routine. During an interview, Jacqueline calmly recollected a recent experience with Canadian Center for Ethics in Sport Doping Control Officers. "CCES officers showed up at my gym on Tuesday night for a spontaneous out-of-competition test. I don’t have to tell you how nice it was not to even think twice about which supplements I take," Jacqueline said with a smile on her face.
In early Octobor, Jacqueline had the opportunity to compete in the 2009 Pan Am Championships in Guayaquil, Ecuador. Coming out with a bronze medal after losing by a couple points to the eventual gold medalist from Argentina, Park was satisfied with how she placed. "Every tournament is a learning experience and this is no exception. I had a lot of tough competition, those girls are amazing athletes and it's a pleasure to be on the same level as them."
