With so many types of protein powder to choose from it can be hard to figure out which one is right for you. Below is a quick guide to the contents and highlights of each of the 4 RivalUS protein powders to help figure out which protein you should add to your stack.

Promasil Casein

RivalUS recently released a new Casein protein powder which contains a blend of 4 casein protein types. Casein protein is beneficial because of its' slow digesting property which is why many athletes choose to drink Casein protein shakes before bed. Unlike whey, this protein is not meant to be drank post workout because the amino acid spike does not occur for at least 3 hours after ingestion. Also those who have issues with lactose should avoid Casein and try a different protein, such as ISO-Clean. This protein is best used to stay anabolic between meals or while one is sleeping to ensure that muscle mass is being fed and not breaking down. Give Promasil Casein a try before bed or between meals. This protein also is excellent for baking because it does not get dry so it makes the perfect microwave protein brownie.

RivalWhey

The perfect post workout protein. RivalWhey is made up of 3 types of whey protein to maximize fast absorption of amino acids into the muscles. To get the most out of whey protein, take it post workout with a fast digesting carb source to jumpstart muscle recovery. This protein is best used as a protein shake or smoothie. Blending up a whey protein shake with fruit is an excellent way to get fast digesting protein and carbs to head straight your muscles after a workout.

Iso-Clean

Not only does this protein boast 100% instantized whey protein isolate for fast digestion it also contains 24 vitamins and minerals, such as magnesium and calcium which are important to muscular function, heart and bone health. This protein does not contain lactose or gluten making it perfect for those with allergies.

Promasil

This protein contains a mix of both fast and slower digesting proteins. By having some of the protein release faster, there is an instant supply of amino acids that go to the muscles. The slower release from the slow digesting proteins can help muscles grow and repair for up to 8 hours. Promasil is also enhanced with beta alanine which is an amino acid that helps with athletic performance.
